Why Powerpets recode won’t have an impact..

Filed under: Powerpets — admin @ 11:36 am

Why Powerpets‘ recode won’t have much of an impact on the virtual pet community. If you’ve been watching Powerpets for the past few years then you’re already aware that its main focus is already real life animals and saving them from the bad owners; however, isn’t Powerpets also a virtual pet site? Well, they don’t advertise nor promote to the internet users.

If Powerpets wants to get larger like the other pet sites, then they’d should do the following:
-Launch an advertising campaign and cap it at $5,000 not only would this help them bring in new members, it’ll help them attract a whole new audience.
-Redo the layout. Let’s face it, their current layout sucks and doesn’t really attract anyone new. Where are the links on the homepage? It’s a splash page. Splash pages are so old and shouldn’t be used in a design anymore.
-The butterfly project. What’s up with this? Shouldn’t they just be recoding behind the scenes without letting us know? If they really think the butterfly project will be a large recode, then think again because their site isn’t easily navigatable - and if the butterfly project fixes this, then we’ll see.
-The lack of new content. Has anyone noticed that Powerpets doesn’t post a lot of small updates but focuses on the Powerpress? Users love to see big updates - introducing new features and not just reading a newspaper every week.

We’re not sure if Powerpets is making any money, but if they are why don’t they re-invest into their site and attract new people? After all, they’ve grown over 800,000 players in just 5 years which is very small if you take a look at the other pet sites. Why is Powerpets having a tough time growing? Not only are their active members’ rate going down, it seems like nobody wants to play Powerpets anymore. What is the deal? Why does everyone not like Powerpets?

We believe if Powerpets puts more effort into the development and advertising of Powerpets then they’ll be one big pet site in the future. Did you know that Powerpets deletes users? What if a user decided to quit for 2 years and then decided to come back and play again? That’s not right.

Making Powerbucks on Powerpets

Making Powerbucks

The newbie section!

First of all, I sugest you go to padam’s shack, which is located in north newbarkston (to get to north newbarkston, go to cities of powerpets, then click on north newbarkston). Right after that, go to the Northen Woods for some slime (which is also in north newbarkston). Once you’ve came back from both areas, go to the slime compacter. You should change it for some PowerBucks (short in PB, which I will start using from now on). Then with your item you got from Padam’s shack (which you should go every 1 hour/3 hours *I go there every hour to the northen woods and padam’s shack and I get something, so its a update, different from other sites, but not to sure about it*, same as the northen woods. Keep your item(s), untill you’ve read this stuff:

Job Agency Power Card: Sell it in swaps. If no one offers in a week, then take it off. Only accept offers that are 5k+ (in this case, *k* means thousand, or 1,000) You can also put it in your shop, but you’ll get better offers on the swaps.

Ticket Booth Cards: Go to East Newbarkston to use it at the ticket booth. But put your break and win cards in shop. You won’t gain much from it.*I got 100k from using a power picks card!*

Armour (Worst– Leather - Steel - Titutaim - Diamond –Best) : Since your still a newbie, you might wanna keep it for later on, or you can just go to the swap barn to trade your armour. Here is a Table for whats a good deal:

Leather: 1k to 2.5k+
Steel: 1.8k to 3k+
Titutiam: 2.5k to 7.5k+
Diamond: 7.5k to 10k+

Random Item: Could be anything…. But ‘course, NOTHING RARE, OR SUPER GOOD!!

Northen Woods

Heres a table:

Slime: Selling Price: Buying Price: Strength added (everytime your strength level is higher than the slime above it, then the strength added is -1)
Radioactive Slime: 100-1000 PB’s 100-1000 1 (works untill 51 strength)
Super Radioactive Slime: 1000-1500 PB’s 1000-1500 PB’s 2 (works untill 151 strength)
Ultra Radioactive Slime: 1500-3000 PB’s 1500-3000 PB’s 3 (works untill 300 strength)

Note: Only start this part if you have 5k+ PB’s.

Alright, lets get started!

First, you wanna open a shop, then expand it to 20/30 space if you think you can afford it. Then you might want to go to the PowerMall located in East NewBarkston to buy some things. I reccomend you buy some cheap stuff. People will want cheap stuff, because it almost always comes in handy.

After buying at least 5 items, go to your items-on-hand. If you bought something you need, put it in your closet. Then with the rest, put them in your shop (You can put it in the swaps too, but the shop gives you more chance).

Next with you Padam Shack Items, do this:

Job Agency Power Card: Same as Newbie, or you can use it if you want to enter the Power Temple.

Ticket Booth Card: You can put it in your shop, or you can use it. The table below will give you a recomendation of what you should do with it:

Card: Stock shop “YES” Stock shop “NO”
Luck of the Draw Card X
Break and Win Big X
Scratch 4 Power Card X
PowerPicks Card X

Random Item: Well, if its good, do something with it (If your not sure, ask for help at PPH4, the help form). If you dont think its good, or you dont need it, then send it in your shop. For example, you would put a bent rusty nail0 in your shop, wheres a force of fire kept (Which I doubt I’d even get it anyways).

Now, Lets jump into slime information.

Since your a bit richer in cash, you can start feeding your pet radioactive slime for strength! HORRAY! But first, we need to get this straight: If you find super radioactive slime or ultra radioactive slime, bring it to the slime compacter for some cash. Then when the radioactive doesnt have a effect on your pet anymore, bring the radioactive slime and ultra radioactive slime to the slime compacter. When super radioactive slime stops, go onto ultra radioactive slime and the super radioactive slime and radioactive slime will go to the slime compacter and so on….. Tell ya what, heres a table of the strength stats:

  (none)
Item Name: Added Strength Up to How much strength
Radioactive Slime 1 50
Super Radioactive Slime 2 150
Power Preztel Unknown 200
Ultra Radioactive Slime 3 301
Slime Pie Unknown 345
Chubby Bear Unknown 350
Radioactive PowerIce 1 375
Radioactive Candy Cane 1 375
Ultra Radioactive Slime Turtle 2 375
Halloween Pumpkin 2 400
Radioactive Water Unknown 501
Radioactive Crab Legs Unknown 501
Stripe Power Egg 1-3 Unknown
Emerald Power Egg 1-3 Unknown
Fire Power Egg 1-3 Unknown
Starry Power Egg 1-3 Unknown
Lucky Silver Coin +2 or -1 Unlimited
Fire Slime 2 Unlimited
Radioactive Bear 1 300
(none) (none) (none)

Well, thats how I make my money. So, hows your money going? Rolling in cash? Have you had enough? Or do still want to make your pool bigger?
