Mind your own business and stay real

Filed under: Articles — admin @ 8:55 pm

Have you ever thought about attacking a certain blogger because you felt the need to - because you thought he/she was doing something wrong? Well, why don’t you mind your own business and stay real? What we mean by staying real is focus on yourself - and not worry about others because the more you worry about what other people are doing, the less time you have to spend on your websites. So, why don’t you take a second and think to yourself “how long much time is there in a day?” Would you rather spend your time ranting and dissing certain people because you don’t have anything better to do - or would you rather spend your time building up your websites and earning more money online?

Well, we’d rather mind our own business and stay real, but if something comes up that needs to be addressed to the public, then we usually bring it to the public and let everyone know what’s going on… Basically speaking - it’s the rule of everything in the world, why waste your time with people talking trash about you, or your business? They’re jealous - and if you’re bringing attention to certain websites, or certain individuals then people will call you jealous - and/or a bitch because all you do is complain about others and not minding your own business.

So, are you a basher, or do you stay real?

Pushing advertisers to your site

Filed under: Articles — admin @ 7:10 am

Are you sick of not making enough money from the web? Well, it’s simple to push advertisers to your site - give them a reason to. Do you own the biggest site in your niche? If that’s the case, then the advertisers will come to you and if your traffic is good enough (10k daily uniques or so), then everyone and their brother will love to advertise on your site.

Give them the ability to select from various advertising plans, this isn’t 2005 anymore where banner ads sell for the most, but this is almost 2008 where advertisers are looking to buy text links, in-post ads, banner ads, button ads, email ads, and more. So, why don’t you give them a wide variety so that you can make a lot more money? You can usually charge $30/month for a text link depending on your site’s traffic, pagerank, and indexed pages. Most people who are looking to buy text links usually buy it for traffic, or to increase their pagerank and search traffic. It’s simple though - and text links generally don’t get in the way of your visitors.

Sell them a banner ad in rotation with other’s ads. You can charge $30/month for this depending on your site’s traffic. Let’s say your site averages 1,000 - 2,000 daily unique visitors with 20,000 - 30,000 daily pageviews, with a ton of active users, then advertisers will love to come to your site and advertise their brand.

In-post ads are usually “text links” that link to the site in certain keywords the following is an example:

Why don’t you come play games at one of the biggest gaming sites on the web!

Of course, the “games” next to play would be a text link, but that’s just an example of an in-post advertisement. Usually you can do this on all your sites and you can attract advertisers.

So, do you have any other methods that we don’t know about? Leave us a comment.
