Neopets blog.. Why?

Filed under: Neopets — admin @ 9:53 pm

A recent article on the Madison’s news recently covered Chloe Spencer who earns $1,000 a month from Google adsense.

“Most people earn money by babysitting or working at places like McDonalds,” said Spencer, 16, who has earned up to $1,000 monthly from her site, Neopetsfanatic.com. “I figured if I earned minimum wage I’d have to work 25 to 30 hours a week to make this.”
“My dad started talking about how you can make money off Google ads,” recalled Chloe of her February 2006 launch. “At the time, I was obsessed with Neopets.”
She created a blog appealing to fans of the popular virtual pet site, posting hints and tips on how to beat the game and gain points. She spends several hours a week working on the site.

So, if Chloe Spencer can do it by providing content to the neopets user base - in a blog - why can’t anyone else? Well, Chlo Spencer had help from her dad, who helped her build backlinks and get ranked for her keywords. So, the question remains if Chloe Spencer can do it, can anyone else?

Of course you can, just research the Neopets market and see what kind of content your blog will need. Remember to research the following keywords: “neopets cheats”, “neopets dailies”, “neopets guides”, “Avatar listing”, and listing of “neopets”. If you can build a content-rich blog that brings people together, then you’ll be able to attract the neopets userbase. It’s very profitable and if Chloe can generate so much money using Google adsense then you can to. and remember once you start earning money from your Neopets blog be sure to remember who taught you how to make money from Neopets.

So, if you don’t know much about Neopets, then we’ll tell you more about it.
Neopets is one of the biggest virtual pet sites on the web today and if you want to learn more about Neopets, then you should read their Wikipedia which has a lot more information about Neopets than we do.

So, basically if you want to become a neopets webmaster, then be sure to research the market and learn what the users are searching for. Chloe has one of the first and biggest neopets blog - and she is to be a prime example of a teen making money from the net, then you should try to learn from her.

Marapets news slow?

Filed under: Marapets — admin @ 1:29 am

We all know great things take time, but has anyone else noticed how Marapets has been lacking new updates throughout the whole month of November? Well, we know why; Ian has been busy with real life - and we’re sure Laimay has been to. Marapets will more than likely pick up again in December and all the December goodies + November’s promised features will possibly be introduced. So, what do you guys think Marapets is working on this time around? Do you think they’re working on new flash games - or possibly new dress up games? We believe they’re working on a ton of new features that will shock all the current members, but we could be wrong and we’ll have to wait and see just like everyone else!

So, what have you been doing this month while the news has been slow? Have you been anticipating seeing the “There is new news” content or have you just playing the game and interacting with the community and your friends? We’ve been chillin too and just playing the game, but we believe Marapets isn’t boring and has enough content to keep users entertained without any new updates for at least a month, but what do you guys think? Does Marapets have enough features or does it need more to attract even more users?

Webkinz is blowing Neopets out of the water

Filed under: Webkinz — admin @ 4:22 pm

If you guys haven’t heard about google trends yet then you should look into it. You can type in a few keywords and learn how competitive they are and how many searches they receive all the time. The fact of the matter is; Webkinz is getting more searches than Neopets is. Why is this? Are people searching for new webkinz to buy, or are they looking to join the site? We’re not sure, but this graph shows how many more searches Webkinz is getting than Neopets.

Webkinz is in the color blue and Neopets is in the color red.
So, if Webkinz is blowing Neopets out of the water on searches - are they getting larger than Neopets? Well, yes, a message board that’s dedicated about Webkinz is currently on big-boards (a list of all the biggest message boards on the web) and there are a few neopets fan-forums that are listed, but they don’t receive nearly as much activity as the biggest Webkinz forum.

Why is this guys? Do you guys know why Webkinz is getting more popular as more people hear about it - or are people moving on from the Neopets craze onto the Webkinz craze?
