Mbif? Not as good anymore
What happened to Mbif? Mbif used to be one of the largest fansites on the web - that supplies Neopets users with free backgrounds, cursors and more, however; ever since Mbif started to work for Subeta her site’s traffic seems to have gone down a lot. If we remember correctly; Mbif used to average well over 4,000 daily unique visitors in the past, but now its only receiving 900 - 1,000 daily unique visitors. Why the sudden change in traffic? Did everyone stop going to Mbif because the backgrounds aren’t so up-to-date and only Subeta users are usign Mbif now, or what?
We’d like to know as well - and if there’s anyway we can make Mbif popular again, then please give us a shout. Also, the pages still seem to designed for the old internet and not up-to-date with the new web standards. Mbif should use a mysql database, to select, and post the codes for all the backgrounds. Not only would creating a database help mbif out a lot, it would be a lot easier for them create new backgrounds and add them for users. Why use standard html pages without a database? Seems obsurd to me, so why don’t you hire Keith or something to code a database for you guys?
You guys have the potential with Subeta to become a much larger backgrounds resource, so use it. You guys were the reason why Mbif fell off, so try to come back and improve it. We need mbif for backgrounds!
