Have you guys ever thought to yourself what would the be reason to Marapets’ downfall? Well, we believe that all the advertisements that Marapets has will be the downfall. Users hate advertisements and Marapets is no exception. They have over 5 advertisements per page - 3 of them are google adsense’ ads and a bunch of other ones are from CPM companies that pays Marapets per every thousand pageview.

Marapets lacks flash games and if they plan to beat Neopets - or at least; attract more of their users, they need to release new flash games. Marapets death will be Ian’s fault for not focusing on the site in the user’s view. It’s turning around and taking a huge fall with all the advertisements, but we have an answer. Are you sick of the advertisements on Marapets? We are too and that’s why we use mozilla firefox with ad block. If Marapets wants to place more advertisements, then we’ll just block them all!

After all, how are we supporting them? We’re supporting them by playing Marapets, attracting more users, and spending money on the account upgrades. We’ve never purchased an account upgrade and we will never buy one - however; the money earnt by browsing Marapets is only making mara richer to invest into new features, right? Wrong - have we seen any new flash games? Nope, just dress up games. Dress up games are boring, we want more flash games.

If Neopets didn’t learn by having advertisements - and having their advertisements blocked by the users, then Marapets will. The advertisements are ridiculous and they have to go. Why do they need so many if the have account upgrades?
