Zetapets lacking leadership.
Zetapets has always had a wonderful community without a great leader. It’s owner isn’t a great leader, but tends to leave everything up to his staff member to program, update, and implement any new changes. Zetapets’ used to have great leadership with two co-founders, IronWulf and Phoenix and they made a great team, however; once Phoenix quit from developing Zetapets and left it to his brother IronWulf to run - Zetapets started to go downhill as IronWulf focused more on school that his own virtual pet game… Zetapets has lacked leadership for the past couple years from the Amanda, JordanF, Benbread, Dawna, Doug, and Cpvr days; Zetapets has continued to grow without any new changes, updates, new art and anything new.
It’s art has gone downhill with a new art style that looks like it was drawn by a 13 year old without much effort. It’s new content manager / art manager is outlaws_dream who has always wanted to run Zetapets side-to-side with IronWulf and run Dawna / Doug out of Zetapets.
Cpvr, Dawna, Doug, Benbread, and Kay_kay_kit all retired from the development of Zetapets. Cpvr was the content manager - managing all the new art updates, content, changes, etc… He even hired Benbread to code quests, gumball machine, oasis and various other features that you see on Zetapets today. Dawna was the head of moderation and Doug was the boss for support. Kay_kay_kit was the head artist - and cpvr’s right hand person; they both pumped out enough content in a week to last Zetapets years… Zetapets was left without a content manager, programmer, moderation boss, and support leader after everyone quit. This all happened in 2005.
2007. What has Zetapets received so far this year? Nothin new, except for a few easter items, bug fixes that were supposed to be fixed a few years and a new promise of Zetapets v3 to be released - its currently under development by OwlmanAtt, Tigress, and IronWulf… Will it bring Zetapets to a whole new level of pet gaming or will Zetapets continue to grow without updates? We’ll have to wait and see…
Zetapets v3 is said to be coming out in 2008 - with a lot of re-written scripts, new art, new layout & more; however, is another version enough to save Zetapets from the bigger pet sites or can Zetapets surpass Powerpets, Marapets and Neopets with its huge outbreak? Can they survive? Are they still one of the elite pet games out there? Sure, they have 500,000 members but will all of their accounts be purged once v3 comes out? What do you guys think? Do you love Zetapets - or do you think it deserves to have better staff members?
Zeta rocks!!!!!!! But I’m mad because its been down for 3 days.

Zetapets is wonderful! The reason it keeps growing is because the staff members are nice and the other people are nice. People don’t come just to see good artwork and play lots of games. They come to actually talk to other people without the threat of getting banned at the slightest thing (Like on Neopets).
I am also a little irritated that it has been down for a couple days, but I believe thats because they are trying to fix a couple bugs that they have had, and are possibly preparing for the release of V3.
And, also, the fact that Zeta is growing without any updates just proves that it is a wonderful site that everybody loves.

OMG! I had no idea the site was gone until I tried to find it,lol. I was getting mad for a sec. ah well, what can you do. I love zeta, I’m on there mostly for the rping though.

I’m not sure who the idiotic author of this short blurb was, but this quote here is absolutely wrong. We weren’t ran off because of outlaws_dream. We don’t hate her either. As a matter of fact, we’ve met her face to face and been in her home. We still to this day talk to her. So, if you are going to post this kind of garbage, get your facts straight. I can speak perfectly for myself as can Dawna. As far as people I didn’t like, the only one was Amanda. So if you want to edit that into your post.. feel free.

Hey Cpvr
I didnt get along with a staff member that was working on V3 and is back on zeta… She is a very educated, and at first I really looked up to her… I really think she will go far, but to me smart is as smart does, and me being an adult, I really dont like to be cussed and I mean ‘cussed’ out by a child. It is disrespectful and shows ignorance even if you are educated to the fullest. But she was very young then, I am sure she matured
I also dont care for the power hunger that was going on there… first it was that programmer that froze my account 100 times, then Amanda… and Cpvr hun, you also got power hungry in the end
all 3 of you stole zeta from ironwulf after he trusted you with his info at one time or another, but I forgave you cuz you gave it back 
Irunwolf is a great kid, He did a great job… and I believe him putting school first now is wonderful! I just wish he would quit putting his trust in the wrong people and let them come back time after time…
Things like this and games like these, you learn are not that important IRL once you have a special needs child and learn what the real picture in life is
That is why we left Zeta… I had a beautiful boy, and turned out he had epelipsy. He needs me more then the people at zeta, and Dream did a wonderful job while she was there 
We have all moved on and have other things going on in life… I have become my son advocate in the very bad school system we have out there for ’special needs’ kids and Dream has gone to another site long before this post was made infact. Now Cpvr, please do the same and move on hun, this is a dying subject.
Yes Zeta was great in its prime, but then so was Neopets… alot of people dont know how much fun it was when you could actually win a real life prize from them, talk to adam or donna personally, or actually play and not get Frozen! They are so good at that now lmao! Zeta is still a good place to hang and talk to your friends, that is really all it has been the last few years, just a glorified forum with a couple of once an hour games. but the people are great and that is what makes the world go around!
Remember life is short… and I was in it, so you had a great life!
