On 26 September 2007 Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP owns Neopets) press release they announced their partnership with JAKKS to create new plush toys and interact it within the Neopets community.
Neopets first started out as an online virtual community. As they began to add merchandise, they started to sell plushies to their users, and in turn, you received a secret code (tokens) as a thank you gift for buying the plushies - and you’d receive in-game points or in-game items.
The new plush toys that Neopets plans to release will most likely be released in Spring of 2008.
